Spring Cleanse and Detox

Don't you want to start this spring feeling light, fresh and in great health. The spring is the perfect time to cleanse and detoxify. Spring is a time that we clean our homes, and it is a great time to clean out and re-tune our bodies as well.

I'd like to invite you to join in on the very first cleanse of the year - a 3 day cleanse with a 7 day warm-up period.  This is a gentle cleanse where you will continue to eat plenty of solid food.  I will offer support in the form of a series of telephone meetings (called teleclasses), a detailed cleanse booklet with a menu and recipe section, and and regular informational throughout the detoxifying cleanse.

The 3-day cleanse will begin TBD and continue through TBD However, you will begin to make some gradual changes in the week leading up to the cleanse (TBD).

Note: some choose to continue the cleanse for longer - and you will receive support if you choose to continue the cleanse for 5 or 7 days.

What is a Detoxifying Cleanse?
Simply put, a cleanse, detox or detoxifying cleanse is a time for you to "reboot" your body.  Most of us have a tendency to eat many rich, fatty and sugary foods, and to occasionally overeat (especially during the holidays).  The cleanse offers a style of eating that supports your body to naturally rid itself of built up food congesting your system, offer your digestive system a break, and can help to eliminate toxins and lets you take a respite from foods that tax your body and can cause negative symptoms. 

There are many ways to detox or cleanse your body.  As in all things, I recommend and support you through a moderate and gentle approach to cleansing. 

You may have heard about cleanses and detoxes - - strict 10, 20, or 30-day programs where you must eat nothing at all, or only fruit or only liquids.  There are many of this type of detoxifying cleanse out there.  While this type of cleanse works for some, it is much too restrictive and extreme for most of us.

During this cleanse you will focus your diet on vegetables, whole grains and a small amount of high-quality protein.  You will be able to eat relatively normally - including all types of vegetables, fruits and whole grains such as brown rice, oatmeal and quinoa.  However, you will be asked to eliminate dairy, wheat, sugar, caffeine, alcohol and any refined or processed foods for the 3-day detoxifying cleanse.

  • Three support calls on TBD Noon - 12:30 pm to help you stay motivated and focused during you cleanse and for great success after. All teleclasses are facilitated by Helen M. Hendrickson.
  • Regular emails throughout the cleans with inspirational thoughts and ideas to help keep you on track.
